Known as “The First Resort North” Lexington, MI is home to many entertaining and cultural events such as The Bach Festival and the Music in the Park summer concert series. These events and more are brought to you by the Lexington Arts Council. The mission of The Lexington Arts Council creates cultural opportunities in the greater Thumb Blue Water community providing musical, visual and fine arts programming.
Our Vision Statement: The Lexington Arts Council is a catalyst providing cultural experiences and opportunities throughout the greater Thumb Blue Water community.
The Lexington Arts Council came into existence in the late 1990’s when a small group of people bonded over their passion for music and visual arts. These people started hosting musical events in their backyards and places of business. When these gatherings became too large for one place the group formally established the well know events that we now know as the Lexington Bach Festival and the Music in the Park Summer Concert Series.
